Hello! I'm Carolyn—bakery owner, Space magazine's creative director, accidental cook and self-anointed mom to my siblings. I like pretty things and crafty little projects. I created this blog out of boredom, wanting to have a new outlet for the creative ramblings in my head and a place to share my kitchen adventures.
The kitchen has always been the center of our home and I am lucky to be part of family who not only loves to entertain but comes from a long line of great cooks and foodies. My childhood is filled with memories of parties and get-togethers centered around my mom's domesticity particularly her cooking, so much so that our home would always be a stopover for relatives and friends. I loved watching the hustle and bustle of our kitchen, waiting for my mom's taste test but in spite of this I was never interested in the labor of cooking, it wasn't until in my late 20s that I began cooking and realized my passion for it and I've been hooked since.
I hope that I may bring you creativity and inspiration as I find the world to be a whole lot better with delectable food, great conversations and pretty little details.
